Computer Stuff
- Winzip
- Of course.
- Pegasus Mail
- What can I tell you, it's free! It's the most sophisticated e-mail program I've worked with, yet it's freeware. You only have to pay if you want the instruction manuals. Top of the line filtering, address books, network mail, and options.
- X-News
- I've been impressed with this Usenet reader. XNews' speed and binary capabilities put it ahead for me. It is the quickest news program I've ever used. It instantaneously trims down the newsgroup list as you enter search terms, has great sorting and archiving capabilities, it's a great product.
- ThumbsPlus
- This is a graphic/sound/video viewer, editor and cataloger. As the name suggests it makes thumbnails of your files, and allows you to easily manage them.
- Trillian
- This is awesome, one message program through which I can run all my accounts: Yahoo, ICQ, MSN, AIM, IRC. You can also have multiple accounts in each one. I would never go back.
- Astrolog
- If you do astrology at all, this charting program has worked very well for me. Sophisticated but real easy to use if you just want a quick chart.
